A full, crisp and powerful wine with intense flavours of passionfruit and blackcurrant along with underlying gooseberry tones. Mouth-watering acidity and an intense mineral note are balanced by a ful l, yet elegant palate that leads to a long lingering finish. Saint Clair is a family run company owned by Neal and Judy Ibbotson who are by their son, Tony, and two daughters, Sarina and Julie. Neal and Judy have been pioneers of the grape in the Marlborough regio since 1978, initially selling grapes to local wine companies, emerging to make their own first vintage in 1994.

This young dynamic company is making top class estate wines through its outstanding winemaker Matt Thomson. Recent awards include New World Wine Producer of the Year 2012 at the UK’s Sommelier Wine Awards. The Saint Clair Marlborough Premium Sauvignon Blanc has won an astonishing 16 gold medals in the last 5 years.
